Sabato parto per il Gilf Kebir-Uweynat con un gruppo di "Zerzuriani". Con molti giorni a disposizione, avremo occasione di girare in lungo e in largo quei territori, sulle tracce delle esplorazioni degli anni trenta e dell'"elusivo" Almasy, chissā che non troviamo anche noi qualche "souvenir" degno di nota al pari di quello ritrovato nel 2006 da Sandra e Paolone.... Sarā certamente un viaggio indimenticabile, sul filo della fantasia e dei favolosi eventi raccontati in "Sahara sconosciuto"...... Buone feste a tutti i soci dello "Zerzura Club".

sono rientrato da pochi giorni dal gilf, il wadi hamra era verdissimo e lussureggiante con fiori e arbusti e quelle zucche tonde.. ma non risulta sia piovuto di recente, anche l'aqaba pass era verde, molto meno,qualcuno sa darmi spiegazione? grazie

Beh, anche se non risulta, evidentemente ci sono state delle piogge di recente.
Forse c'erano anche delle pozze d'acqua o tracce di esse?
Le "zucche tonde" sono delle coloquinte, allo stato naturale velenose sia per gli uomini che per gli animali.
